Together, let’s build the future of youth.

At YouthStart, we help youth in precarious or vulnerable situations to tap into their dreams and talents.

Why collaborate with YouthStart?

Through an 8-day program (training and individual coaching) or a 20-day program (information session + 9-day training + individual coaching) spread over 8 weeks (the latter not offered in Flanders), we guide youth in their personal and professional development, helping them regain self-confidence and build a promising future.

The goal is to help youth get to know themselves better so they can define their short- and long-term futures more clearly. The program also focuses on developing digital, communication, and presentation skills. Participants also acquire the attitudes and abilities needed to integrate effectively into a work environment.

Unity is strength! Together, we can help even more unemployed youth and those seeking opportunities to give a boost to their dreams, their talents, and their future.

YouthStart has successfully collaborated with other partners for years—why not with you?

For whom?

How?

YouthStart is an organization that offers its program to youth who:

  • are under 30 years old,
  • are not working, not attending school, or enrolled part-time,
  • have no diploma or at most a secondary school certificate (or a higher education diploma not recognized in Belgium),
  • have a good command of French or Dutch.

In partnership with YouthStart, a training program can be organized at the partner’s premises, anywhere in Belgium. The program adapts to the pace of the partner’s target group while carefully meeting their specific needs.

The Strength of Our Curriculum

We believe the strength of our curriculum lies in five key elements that make us stand out:

  • Short and intensive program
This format can be easily integrated into existing (longer) programs or organized independently.
  • Working on intrinsic motivation
The focus is on motivating youth who are often stuck in a “negative mindset.”
  • A unique entrepreneurial pedagogy
Using various tools and the support of two coaches, participants develop a professional plan for their future, which they then present to an advisory jury.
  • Group coaching
The YouthStart program takes place in a group setting—a stimulating dynamic that plays a key role in expanding participants’ networks.
  • Sustainable guidance and activation
All these elements contribute to a positive and lasting orientation, as well as the activation of youth seeking opportunities.
